Live With Prince Far-I This was Prince Far-I's last live show and certainly the most unusual, varying from his early hard-driving, almost rock-steady style on "Throw Away Your Guns" and "What You Gonna Do On Judgement Day?", to his later style of slow conscience lyrics like "83 Struggle" and "Foggy Road". There is also the wonderful "Trance Dance Music". The album also contains six extra SOA tunes, some recorded for the BBC and others unavailable elsewhere. This is a very interesting album, but I will say that the recording quality of the live tracks is not very good.
Land of a Thousand Churches Wadada's masterpiece is a world requiem mass with Dutch philosopher Erasmus (Professor Stanley Unwin) as your guide. In the SOA cathedral of dub, Indian Gods sit contentedly beside Celtic witches and the Old Testament prophet Ezeckiel (John Cooper Clarke). The Suns of Arqa combine modern and primitive dance rhythms, religious incantations, eastern melodies and even a part of Faure's Requiem, and it works!
Alap-Joe-Jhala A superb blend of Indian melodies, dub reggae basslines and sheer dance power, the album begins with two tracks that have been changing people's perspective at raves around the world. These are followed by two epic 'Dub-Ragas' and the album continues with the eclectic blend of instrumentation and mix of cultures we have come to expect from the Suns of Arqa. Please note that this album is no longer available, but a remix by Lszl Hortobgyi is on the way.
Jaggernaut - Whirling Dub A hypno-trance, spaced out Dub and Dance special! Mixes by Youth, Greg Hunter and Astralasia. Musicians featured include Shenhai master Kadir Durvesh, flautist Tim Wheater, polish violinist Marek Miczck and Wadada on thundering dub bass.
Kokoromochi A beautiful dancing trip with hints of psychedelia. Featuring Bamboo Flute master Raganath Seth, Devdas Nair on Santoor and Wadada on bass. Includes mixes by Bleep & Booster. This is uplifting, chill-out music of the finest quality. My son was born into the world to the strains of Kokoromochi!
Arqaology This album includes the first two SOA releases 'Revenge of The Mozabites' and 'Wadada Magic'. Quite possibly the most eclectic mix of musical cultures you are ever likely to come across. This album contains Indian Ragas, Irish jigs, Andalucian flamenco, dub reggae, etc...etc... It is a must have introduction to the varied output of the Suns of Arqa, and includes remixes by Adrian Sherwood, The Minister of Noise and Phil Kirby.
Cradle Pure melody performed on Shenhai, Flute, Violin and Keyboard produce a musical meditation. The spiritual message of the Arqans is simple - you can reach the inner self through music, and when you reach the inner self, you reach the eternal.
Total Eclipse of the Suns is a collection of tracks re-mixed from some of their classic albums by Youth, Greg Hunter, Adrian Sherwood, Astralasia, Bleep & Booster, United Spirits of Rhythm, Yam Yam and two previously unreleased tracks by Zombie.
Shabda A superb album featuring the 1995 Suns of Arqa lineup - Johar Ali from New Delhi on violin, John Snelson on highland bagpipes, Sticksman on drums, tabla maestros Kalu and Sandeep, Wayne Worm on bass, Country Rankin, Angel -Eye and Wadada on vocals, and special guest Dhrupad musicians Reba and Sumit, amongst others. This is the some of the most interesting dub/world/raga/reggae/dance music in the world. Performed live, it is 100% sample free.
Animan  - The live experience, no tapes or samples, just 100% live performance from the same line-up as performed on the Shabda album.
A Brief History of SOA A budget priced retrospective which serves as a brilliant introduction to SOA, or simply a good way to plug those holes in your SOA collection.  This album reflects very well the diversity of SOA's music, and emphasises that their commitment to style and spirituality has been there from the start.
Remixes vol 2 + 3 This double album on the German 'Echo Beach' label contains a stunning collection of creative and wildly differing remixes, mainly from the 'Shabda' LP and of the classic track 'Govinda', but there are a few surprises too. A refreshing mixture of well known names and a few new faces.
Suns of Arqa meet the Gyan Uttejak Orchestra is a collaboration between Wadada and Hungarian composer and ethno-musicologist Lszl Hortobgyi. It's the result of two kindred spirits working together for the first time.
Songs from Hungisthan by Lszl Hortobgyi The first album from Arka Sound by an artist other than SOA. from the Hungarian composer and ethno-musicologist Lszl Hortobgyi.  A fascinating blend of ancient and modern.
Cosmic Jugalbandi  - woven around a jugalbandi (duet) between Raghunath Seth on Bamboo flute and Johar Ali Khan on violin, 12 magical tracks, based on five Indian ragas.
Technomor - remixes vol.4 Another collection of superb remixes from the likes of Astralasia, Zion Train, Youth etc.

Govindas House in the City of Nine Gates Remixes Volume 2 released as a seperate album. Click here for track listing.

Aberglaube Remixes Volume 3 released as a seperate album. Click here for track listing.

Sangeet Novus Sensus - The Gayan Uttejak Orchestra The latest release from Laszlo Hortobagyi is a stunning blend of dance, trance and ethnomusicality.

Muslim Gauze - The Suns of Arqa Mixes 18 incredible remixes from Muslim Gauze. His unique style gives a new dimension to the SOA remix.

Solar Activity 1979-2001
25 tracks, covering 22 years of SOA - this collection contains many classics as well as a few surprises and is the definitive Suns of Arqa double album retrospective.

Universecity Features the great Tibetean Lama Geshela Ngaqang Sherap chanting ancient prophesies and shenai maestro Kadir Durvesh. The whole album was produced in Budapest by Wadada and Laszlo Hortobagyi, with four tracks re-mixed in London by Youth.

Revenge of the Mozabites
The classic 1979, ground-breaking album, released on CD.

A Brief History of the Gayan Uttejak Orchestra Catch up on the work of Laszlo Hortobagyi, with these 13 selected tracks from 1991 to the present.

Magiczna Milosc Suns of Arqa are big in Poland. This album was recorded after the Polish tour last year. The vocals are mainly in Polish, apart from the single - produced by John Leckie - 'Maybe You're a Rich Man' - this sounds like Oasis in Dub!! City of Nine Gates was produced by Andrew Weatherall. The drummer on this album is Damon Reece, ex drummer with Spiritualised and the man who does all the drum loops for Massive Attack. Agniesszka Jablonska is the brilliant vocalist. The CD contains three bonus tracks from the long deleted 'Wadada Magic'.top

Tributey - a tribute to Professor Stanley Unwin. Stanley Unwin and Suns of Arqa have been making music together since 1983. This release contains all of their tracks together, along with an interview he did for BBC Radio about his involvement with the cult band Suns of Arqa.

The last thing he recorded, just before his passing early in 2002, 'Troglodytes of Mars' is now finished and is presented on Tributy, along with several new mixes of previous material - also, a version of Tomorrow Never Knows, writtenby Stanley's long time fan, John Lennon. Sit back and enjoy Professor Stanley Unwin.
